Your data, your rules

Noreli only works if you trust it. Here is exactly what we collect, why we need it, and what you can do about it.

How your financial information is handled

Noreli only works if you trust it with sensitive numbers. Here's the plain-language version of what that means in practice.

Only you see your numbers
Every financial row is tied to your account, and the database itself refuses reads from anyone else.

What we collect and why

Everything below is typed in by you. Noreli does not connect to your bank, import transactions, or read anything from other services.

Saved forecastsThe inputs, assumptions and results of each forecast you save.So you can reopen a decision later and see exactly what it was based on.

How your data is used

Your answers build one thing: your own financial profile. That profile is the only input to your forecasts. When you run a scenario, the calculation happens on our server as you, using your profile and the current Dutch rules stored centrally — and the result is shown only to you. Saving a forecast stores a snapshot of the inputs, the assumptions and the result, so you can come back to a decision and see what it rested on.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or trackers, or use your financial values in analytics.

Results are estimates

Every number Noreli shows you is an estimate for orientation, not a payroll or tax calculation. It uses a simplified version of the Dutch box 1 rules and holds several things constant — expenses, pension percentages, inflation, pay rises and investment returns. Your actual payslip, pension scheme and tax return will differ. Check anything you plan to act on with your employer, your pension fund or a qualified adviser.

Please don't enter more than you need

Noreli is designed to work on round figures. You never need to give us identifying details, and we ask you not to: no BSN, no bank or investment account numbers, no employer name, no home address, no passport or residence-permit numbers. Free-text fields, such as a goal name, are for you — keep personal details out of them.

Getting a copy of your data, or deleting it

If you have an account, both are self-service under Settings → Privacy. Export gives you a JSON file with your profile, financial inputs, goals and saved forecasts. Deleting your account removes your sign-in account, your profile, your financial inputs, your goals and every saved forecast, and signs you out. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in, or you want your request handled by a person, write to us at the contact address below and we will action it.
